Hello! I recently learned that my blog is being read in 99 countries – thank you readers all over the world! Today, I am going to share ideas with you in the event that you or your child is sick or needs first aid; my hope is that each of these natural remedies can be found in a store near you or within your own home.
Fevers, infections, and even blisters all have their purpose. It is not our job to suppress symptoms but we can certainly accelerate the natural healing of the body. The goal of home remedies is not to stop the symptoms but to reduce the severity. We always need to remember to honour the illness or the injury and what the body is trying to do.
These remedies are fast-acting, effective, kid-friendly and have certainly come to my family’s rescue time and time again:
Rescue Remedy – this is a potent combination of Bach flower remedies that I use when my girls experience any trauma i.e. fall, broken limb, nightmare. This liquid has calmed them down and helped them heal many times. It comes in a bottle and you simply put a few drops under your child’s tongue.
We are starting to hear about and find homeopathic remedies far more often than in the past. Here is the list of homeopathic remedies and some of their uses, that I have extrapolated from my book:

I could write pages and pages on all the natural remedies available to us; these are just a few examples. By using these natural remedies for yourself or your child, as opposed to drugs, you do not deplete the body of good bacteria – having lots of good bacteria is the key to physical well-being! I invite you to try one of these remedies the next time someone in your family gets injured or sick and then let the rest of us know how it worked for you! And please feel free to share some effective, natural remedies that I did not mention in this post. Don’t forget to leave a link back to your own blog if you have one via the commentluv feature you will find here on the site.
Until next time,
